    Mouse fibroblasts from T(10;17)11Rl homozygotes fused with HPRT-Chinese hamster V79/E36 cells were used to regionally assign Cbs. Line HMTA9 contained 17T and not 10T. Line HMTA9:19 contained 10T in 50% of cells and 17T in less than 10% of cells. RasI digested DNA from HMTA, but not HMTA9:19, hybridized to rat cDNA p610 placing Cbs in band A-C of Chr 17 proximal to the T(10;17)11Rl breakpoint. Data not shown.
