Rig1 immunological
H2-I histocompatibility
Notes
  • Reference
Authors use rig1 for Rig1 because the locus symbol was observed as recessive.
  • Experiment
A gene controlling the expression of the b allotype of Igh1 was observed to map to the H2 region of Chromosome 17 in (C57BL/10 x BALB/c)F1 x BALB/c backcross mice. This gene is given the symbol Rig1. In crosses involving BALB/c and C57BL/10 congenic micethe region of H2 containing the Rig1 locus was further refined to a position proximal to H2-I.
