    A panel of 15 mouse x Chinese hamster somatic cell hybrids was analyzed by Southern blotting. At low stringency of hybridization two bands are detected, each one mapping to a different chromosome. The 4.0kb EcoRI band corresponding to Cbfa2 showed 100% concordance with Chromsome 16.
