• Reference
  The authors use the locus symbol UPS for Hmbs, and use the locus name porphofilinogen desminase (RBGD).
• Experiment
  When sequencing the 3' flanking region of Hmbs the authors found the Hist5-2ax gene immediately downstream of Hmbs. The two genes are oriented in the opposite direction and the polyadenylation signals of the two genes are separated by only 324 bp, therefore Hist5-2ax is also located on Chromosome 9.
