Notes
  • Experiment
Deletion mapping using albino deletion mutants was used to map 4 ENU-inbred lethal mutations to the pid - Hbb interval of mouse Chromosome 7. Proven lethal-carrier mutant males were mated to females heterozygous for various albino deletions. Crosses producing zero or one albino progeny in 30 offspring were said to be noncomplementing combinations. The mapping results were used to suggest the following order: pid - D7Rn6 - l7Rn3 - l7Rn2 - l7Rn4 - l7Rn1 - sh1 - Hbb.
