Notes
  • Experiment
In order to map diabetic resistant genes to mouse chromosomes, NOD congenic strains which express non-NOD C57BL/10SnJ or B6.PL-Thy1a derived alleles at the Idd3 and Idd10 loci were developed. Mapping information from all derived strains indicate that Idd3 is located within an approximate 10 cM region of Chromosome 3 flanked by D3Nds12 and D3Nds1 whereas Idd10 is located within an approximate 34 cM region of Chromosome 3 flanked by D3Mit51 and D3Nds9.
