  A panel of 73 progeny from the (C57B/6J x M. spretus )F1 x C57BL/6J backcross was typed by Southern analysis in order to map D9Pas1, the sequence flanking the MT-MYC12.4 transgene insert. The authors determined the order of loci at the proximal end of Chromosome 9 to be: D9Pas1 - Thy1 - Mpi1 - Mod1. The centimorgan distance from D9Pas1 to Thy1 is 19.2 +/- 4.6 cM and from D9Pas1 to Mpi1 is 34.7 +/- 5.5 cM.
