Notes
  • Experiment
Restriction and Southern analysis was used to order three cosmid clones encoding loci at the 5' end of the Hoxc cluster. The authors conclude that Hoxc13, Hoxc12, Hoxc11, Hoxc10 and Hoxc9 reside within approximately 58kb of DNA on Chromosome 15. The fiveloci are aligned in the same transcriptional orientation. The distance between Hoxc12 and Hoxc11 is 18.5kb, and 10.5kb between Hoxc13 and Hoxc12.
