Notes
  • Reference
Authors use Haras-2 and Ha-ras for Hras1-ps1 and Hras1 respectively.
  • Experiment
Analysis of mitotic recombination in tumors was used to map Hras1 proximal to Fgf3 (formerly Int-2) and distal to Hbb on Chromosome 7. Preliminary mapping experiments using (M. spretus x M. musculus)F1 x M. musculus backcross mice support the conclusion that Hras1 segregates with distal Chromosome 7 markers. The pseudogene (or other cross-hybridizing sequence) Hras1-ps1, is proximal to Fes as previously mapped (Saunders, A.M., Seldin, M.F., Genomics 8:525-533, 1990).
