    Southern analysis of DNA from DBA/2J, C57BL/6J and pre-B cell line 70Z/3 using Vpreb1 cDNA clone pZ121 identified another pre-B expressed gene, Vpreb2. Authors suggest that this gene maps to mouse Chromosome 16.
