  The congenic lines HW81 and HW97 carry the BALB/c allele of H28 and If1 on a C57BL/6J background. Congenic line HW110 carried the C57BL/6J allele. These congenics indicate that H28 and If1 are distinct loci and are linked on Chromosome 7.
