Apoc2 direct sequencing mAPOE27
Notes
  • Experiment
Previous analysis of a cosmid clone, mAPOE27, had indicated that Apoe, Apoc1 and Apoc2 were clustered in that order on Chromosome 7. Sequence analysis of a subclone, Apoc4 genomic1, identified another gene, Apoc4 physically located between Apoc1 and Apoc2. The Apoc4 gene is positioned 2,0kb 5' to the Apoc2 gene on Chromosome 7 with both genes being transcribed in the same direction.
