Notes
  • Experiment
With the use of a human probe which hybridizes to mouse cosmid clones (derived from H2b and H2d haplotypes) the authors were able to indicate there were two copies of the Bat1 (D17H6S81E) gene, one in association with the H2-D gene and one with the H2-L gene. In analyzing these data and the published restriction site maps, the authors were able to place the two genes on the map. D17H6S81E-1 (Bat-1a) is 5' of the H2-D and 39kb from the Tnf cluster. D17H6S81E-2 (Bat-1b) is 10.5kb from H2-L.
