Notes
  • Experiment
AKR/Ms, BALB/c and C57BL/6N congenic nude mice and their inbred partners were analyzed using Southern analysis to determine a physical location for the nude locus relative to six Chromosome 11 genetic markers. As ordered the markers analyzed included Il3, Myhs, Chrnb1, Evi2a, Mpo, and Hoxb5. Informative RFLVs were used to demonstrate that the nude locus lies within a 9 cM region between Acrb and Mpo. This region includes Evi2a and excludes Chrnb1 and Mpo.
