    In the interspecific backcross (C3H/HeH x M. spretus)F1 x (C3H/HeH x 101/H)F1 a total of 78 offspring were scored for the Grpr locus. All 35 males exhibited a single allele and 23 out of the 43 females were found to be heterozygous. This confirmed the localization on the X Chromosome.
