    Tstap198-7 was shown to correspond to the P198 antigen using a 0.9kb PstI-BamHI genomic probe. Unlike the P198 cDNA probe which hybridizes to multiple genetic fragments, this probe, containing intron 1 sequences, hybridizes only to Tstap198-7.
