  When NZB female mice were mated to BALB/c male mice all F1 male mice showed the Mtp-3 component. When NZB male mice were mated to BALB/c female mice the Mtp-3 component was absent in F1 males. This crisscross inheritance in F1 males suggests a location for Mtp-3 on the X Chromosome.
