Notes
  • Experiment
Crosses between T(5;12)31H/+ females and +/+ males produce about 4% tertiary monosomics carrying Chromosome 5, 12 and 125, but missing Chromosome 512 including the centromeric portion of Chromosome 5. Matings between T(5;12)31H/+ females and rl/rl males produced 2 animals that were phenotypically "reeler" (rl/0) and tertiary monosomic, thus localizing rl proximal to the T(5;12)31H breakpoint on Chromosome 5.
