  A RAPD (random amplification of polymorphic DNA) reaction was run on the intersubspecific backcross C3H/HeJ x (C3H/HeJ x SJL/J)F1. 100% concordance was observed between DYByu9 and 45 male mice out of a total of 90 animals, indicating linkage of DYByu9 tothe Y Chromosome.
