  NFS.Hm mice are partially congenic for the gene Hm.
• Experiment
  Males from the crosses NFS x (DBA/2 x NFS.Hm)F1 and NFS x (CBA/N x NFS.HM)F1 were mated to NFS females to initiate Rmcf congenic lines. In each generation the Hm/+ mice were typed for Rmcf. At generation 7, 135 mice had been typed with no recombination detected between Rmcf and Hm.
