Experiment

Seven Chinese hamster x mouse somatic cell hybrids were analyzed. The 22 kb mouse fragment representative of Csfgm was absent from all hybrids as was mouse Chromosome 11. This concordant segregation suggests a mouse locus for Csfgm on Chromosome 11.
