Notes
  • Reference
The data provided here identified those chromosomes as being present in the hybrids if they were present in greater than 20% of the cells karyotyped. The reported Chromosome 3 location for Acta1 has been revised in subsequent reports. Acta1 maps to Chromosome 8 and not 3.
  • Experiment
Somatic cell hybrids were from fusion of Chinese hamster cell line E36 with either BALB/c fibroblasts, A/HeJ macrophages, BALB/c Meth A cells, BALB/c CMS4 cells or C3H cell line CT11C. Mouse chromosome complement determined by karyotypic and isozyme analyses. Actc-1 was assigned to Chromosome 17 in this paper, but subsequently shown to be on Chromosome 2.
