Il1b Southern analysis Il-1b cDNA
Notes
  • Experiment
Mouse cDNA probes for Il-1a and Il-1b were used to construct a restriction map of the mouse Il-1 complex on Chromosome 2. This was acheived by utlizing single and double digests of CBA/H bone marrow DNA generated with PstI, PvuII, EcoRV, NsiI, KpnI CfoI and SmaI. Restriction fragment size analysis indicate that the Il-1a and Il-1b loci are closely linked and are contained within the same 70 kb SmaI genomic fragment.
