Notes
  • Experiment
The association of alleles of Pgk-2 with alleles of Ce-2 and Tla and of Pgk-2 with H-2 haplotypes in inbred strains (table provided in Ref) led to the investigation of linkage between H-2D and Pgk-2 on Chromosome 17. The analysis of congenic strains A.TFR1 and B10.TFR1 (H-2Df Pgk-2b) in which H-2Df was co-transferred with Pgk-2b from the donor strain A.CA to the C57BL/10Sn background (H-2Db Pgk-2a) indicated that Pgk-2 was closely linked to H-2D. Other congenic lines in which Pgk-2 was co-transferred with an H-2D haplotype were A.BY, B10.M, A.CA, B10.RIII(71NS) and B10.S.
