DXSmh141 Southern analysis DXSmh141
Notes
  • Experiment
DXSmh141 is present in about 50 copies/haploid genome in M. domesticus and in less than 10 copies/haploid genome in M. spretus. A restriction fragment length variation between M. domesticus and M. spretus permitted mapping of DXSmh141 in the interspecific backcross. All male progeny showed the M. domesticus or the M. spretus pattern indicating X-linkage. The complex DXSmh141 pattern segregated as a single locus in 105 male progeny tested.
