Experiment

Ninteen somatic cell hybrids from fusion of Chinese hamster cell line E36 with peritoneal or spleen cells from BALB/c or NFS.Akv-2 mice were analyzed. All hybrids were negative for both Pdeg and Chromosome 11. All other chromosomes showed at least three discordances. The syntenic relationship was verified using a rat-mouse microcell hybrid F(11)J that contained Chromosome 11 as its only mouse chromosome and was positive for Pde6g.
