    Somatic cell hybrids were from fusion of E36 Chinese hamster and mouse cells. The mPRP cDNA was isolated by homology to mPLF cDNA sequences. Hybrid 4B31AZ3 was positive for Plfr, but did not retain a karyotypically identifiable Chromosome 13. It is presumed that a Chromosome 13 fragment or small translocation may exist in this hybrid line.
