Notes
  • Experiment
Somatic cell hybrids were constructed using Chinese hamster line (360-6) and mouse spleen cells or mouse peritoneal macrophages. DNA was digested with PstI, Southern blotted and hybridized with human cDNA probe lambda Am4. Three of the hybrid lines were homozygous for one or both of the translocation products of T(2;16)28H and retained a portion of chromosome 16. The presence of the portion of chromosome 16 is designated as 162, distal as 216. App can thus be assigned to distal chromosome 16.
