• Reference
  20 microcell hybrids were made with CHO line AuxB1 that were Fpgs-, into which mouse chromosomes from C57BL/6J diploid embryo fibroblasts were transferred. Of these, 7 contained intact mouse chromosomes and 8 contained centric fragments of mouse chromosomes and 5 contained no identifiable mouse chromosomal material.
• Experiment
  All Fpgs+ cells contained mouse Chromosome 2 or del 2(C1-ter). Thus Fpgs is located in the centromere-C1 region of Chromosome 2.
