Gnb3
Notes
  • Reference
Gnb3 was later determined to be on Chromosome 6 (Danciger M. Genomics 12:688-692, 1992).
  • Experiment
26 somatic cell hybrids were from fusions of Chinese cell line E36 with peritoneal or spleen cells from BALB/c or NFS.Akv-2 mice. There was only 4% discordancy found betweeen mouse Chromosome 8 and the HindIII 5.9 kb fragment of gene Gnb-3 when the hybrid lines were probed with bovine cDNA probe lambda TB112. This 4% represents one discordant hybrid which had a low copy number of Chromosome 8.
