    Restriction mapping and sequencing of Charon 28 clones from a BALB/c mouse genomic library reveal at least four genes within the a 28 kb fragment in the Ifa gene complex on Chromosome 4. These were identified as the Ifa-alpha1, -alpha4, -alpha5, and -alpha6 genes.
