  Linkage analysis was performed using a backcross between (BALB/c x MOA)F1 x BALB/c. Only the number of mice (n) and the recombination values were provided. The interval results were Mup-1 - b, (n=40) 0% recombination; Mup1 - Gpd-1, (n=76) 38% recombination; Mup1 - Pgm2, (n=76) 16% recombination; b - Pgm1, (n=43) 14% recombination, and Pgm2 - H6pd (n=76) 34% recombination. The results suggest a gene order of Mup1 - Tyrp1 - Pgm2 - H6pd on Chromosome 4.
