    The EBS somatic cell hybrids (Chinese hamster cell line E36 x BALB/c spleen cells) were analyzed. Hybrid DNA was digested with HindIII or EcoRI and the fragments analyzed for hybridization to a cDNA probe for mouse gene Mgsa. The one apparently discordant hybrid line EBS-1 typed positive for Chromosome 5 markers Pep-7, Pgm-1 and Mgsa.
