  Mouse Hem1 maoed to a region of mouse Chromosome 15 flanked by BC048502 and D15Mit35. This region included D15Mit79 and Nckap1l. The Hem1 phenotype was determined to be the result of a C-T conversion within exon 13 in the Nckap1l locus.
