Notes
  • Experiment
A targeted disruption of Gp6 in mice resulted in a measurable difference in tail bleeding times in Gp6 -/- mice. The locus responsible for the difference was mapped to mouse Chromosome 4 and symbolized as Mh (modifier of hemostasis). Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) were identified in 8 inbred mouse strains including C57BL/6J and 129X1/SvJ. The most significant association of the phenotype was found with SNP rs13477745 LOD 6.9 (p<.001) at bp position 64,020,437 ( v37 assembly) in mouse Chromosome 4.
