    Somatic cell hybrids used were from fusion of E36 Chinese hamster cells and A/J or NFS.Akv-2 spleen or peritoneal cells. EcoRI digested DNA from the hybrids was probed with the BALB/c Aprt-ps SmaI-AvaII fragment. The diagnostic A/J or NFS.Akv.2 band was 4.5 kb.
