Notes
  • Experiment
    Mouse markers Slt1, Slt2, Slt3 , Slt4 and Slt5 were mapped to mouse Chromsomes 6, 7, 8, 19 and X respectively. SNP density within a genomic region was used to correlate the presences of the Slt loci. The following bp locations were suggested based on NCBI map view( Build 33.1). Slt1, Chr6: 83.4 - 83.5 Mb (p=.0035), Slt2 , Chr7: 3.9 - 5.7 Mb (p=.0061), Slt3 Chr 8: 122.7 - 124 Mb(p=.0035), Slt4 Chr19: 31.7 - 34.8 Mb(p=.0035), and Slt5 Chr X: 133.1 - 143.4 Mbs(p=.0035). The following strains were resistant to spontaneous lung tumors: 129X1/SvJ, AKR/J, C3H/HeJ, C57BL/6J, CAST/EiJ, DBA/2J, LP/J, NZB/BlnJ, SM/J, and SPRET/EiJ whereas the following strains were susceptible, A/J, BALB/J and NZW/LacJ. All the aforementioned strains were informative in the SNP analysis.
