  Linkage of Cd72 to chromosome 4 was suggested by the similarity of allele distribution to that of Lyb-2 among inbred strains. Linkage was confirmed by typing congenic strain B6.I-Lyb-2.1/Boy. Ly-32 was shown to be distinct from Ly-29 by the different alleles present in A/WySn.
