    EBS series of mouse x Chinese hamster cell lines designated EBS-1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -9, -10, -11, -15, -17, -18, -51, -63, -71, and 74 were used. Mouse chromosome complement determined by isozyme and karyotype analysis. Gcg determined on Southern blots ofEcoRI digested DNA probed with Syrian hamster full-length cDNA clone pshil.
