  Somatic cell hybrids were from fusions between Chinese hamster 380-6 cells and T(X;16)16H male mouse fibroblasts or between Chinese hamster E36 cells and spleen cells of AKR, BALB/c or NZB mice. Hybrid lines were characterized by chromosome and isozyme analyses. Tdt was determined on Southern blots. One hybrid discordant for chromosome 19 probably represents a chromosome rearrangement.
