  In a backcross, (C3H/HeJ-p^J x IS/CamEi)F1 x C3H/HeJ-p^J, 24 mice that were recombinants between Gpi-1 and p were typed for additional markers. Apoe and Gpi-1 showed complete concordance indicating that Apoe is proximal to Pep-4, Tam-1, Prt-5, Saa-1 and p. Apoe was typed using mouse cDNA probe p2C1. Revised gene symbol: Ahr (formerly Ah).
