Pira10 and Pira11 mapped to proximal mouse Chromosome 7 in 123 animals from a (C57BL/6 x M. spretus)F1 x M. spretus backcross. The order and distance between genes and markers is listed below.

    centromere - Pira10/Pira11 - (4.1 cM) - D7Mit74a/D7Mit24 - (12.2 cM) - D7Mit25 - (2.4 cM) - Bax/Tead2/Nds5 - 1.6 cM) - D7Mit193 - (4.1 cM) - D7Mit83 - (0.8 cM) - D7Mit70 - (13.8 cM) - Nds2 - telomere

Pira10 and Pira11 are also known to be located near jb (2 cM), nv (4.2 cM), and Bloc1s3 (4 cM). However, the relationship of these genes to Pira10 and Pira11 is unknown.
