Notes
  • Experiment
NOD, C57BL/6J, and congenic mice were used to refine the mapping of Nktcn1 to mouse Chrmosome 1. Congenic strains for distal chromosome 1, including L1 (formerly designated NOD.C57BL/6-fcgr2) and L1R (formerly C57BL/6.NOD-fcgr2) were used in mapping. Subcongenic strains, L2, L3, L6, and L7 were derived from L1 mice backcrossed with the NOD parent. Homozygous mice were then obtained by brother-sister matings. Nktcn1 was shown as mapping between D1Mit270 and D1Mit113 at 92.6 cM.
