    The nonrecombinate region of mouse Chr 11 surrounding the wr mustation included in order the following loci: D11Hjk30 - D11Mit294 - D11Hjk27 - D11Hjk28 - D11Hjk26- Within this region the Vps54 gene was transscribed. The authors indicated the wr mutation was coded for by an A to T transversion at nucleotide 72 of exon 23 in the wobbler mouse.
