Notes
  • Experiment
Linkage analysis was performed on a population of (NZB/BlN x B10.D2/oSnJ)F1 x B10.D2/oSnJ backcross animals to map loci affecting cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) response to H2-compatible cells. Parental strain NZB/BlN exhibits increased in vitro CTL response to H2-compatible cells. Ctl1 (cytotoxic T lymphocyte response 1) showed linkage to mouse Chromosome 1 near Ly9 (93.9 cM). Animals heterozygous for NZB/BlN-derived alleles at Ctl1 exhibit stronger CTL response compared to animals homozygous for B10.D2/oSnJ-derived alleles.
