Anth resistance/susceptibility
Notes
  • Experiment
A population of female backcross animals derived from C3H/HeNCrj and C57BL/6NCrj was analyzed for resistance to Bacillus anthracis. Parental strain C3H/HeNCrj is resistant (12% mortality rate) compared toparental strain C57BL/6NCrj (84% mortality rate). A C3H/HeNCrj-derived locus named Anth is believed to confer resistance to B. anthracis with dominant inheritance.
