Notes
  • Experiment
Simple sequence length polymorphisms (SSLPs) were used to fine map the Pas1 locus. 29 inbred strains were genotyped to isolate Pas1 to a 486 kb region on mouse Chromosome 6. Several of these SSLP markers are located within one of the Pas1 candidate genes.

    D6Int3, D6Int31, D6Int5, D6Int6, and D6Int36 are located in Lrmp.
    D6Int9 is located in Casc1.
D6Int129 and D6Int132 are located in 4930469P12Rik (Ghiso).

The order of the SSLP markers is as follows:

    centromere - D6Int152 - D6Int20 - D6Int16 - D6Int21 - D6Int17 - D6Int24 - D6Int25- D6Int26 - D6Int27 - D6Int18 - D6Int29 - D6Int3 - D6Int31 - D6Int5 - D6Int6 - D6Int36 - D6Int9 - D6Int129 - D6Int132 - D6Int11 - D6Int12 - D6Int14 - D6Int48 - D6Int15 - D6Int52 - D6Int45 - telomere
