Notes
  • Experiment
129X1/SvJ X C57BL/6J (218 meioses) and 129X1/SvJ x DBA/2J (208 meioses) were informative in mapping the nax (delayed hair appearance and ataxia) mutation to mouse Chromosome 2, bounded by D2Mit158 and D2Mit100. More refined analysis show nax flanked by D2Mit98 and D2Mit140. The authors used molecular evidence to show that nax was mutated in Acp2.
