Notes
  • Experiment
Using linkage intercrosses of the dfcr mutants with CAST/Ei, the authors mapped the dfcr and dfcr-2J mutations to mouse Chromosome 7. Haplotype analysis using 54 F2 mice (108 meioses) positioned dfcr between D7Mit157 (3.7% recombination) and D7Mit272 (1.9% recombination) . Further analysis of 93 F2 mice (186 meioses) placed the dfcr- 2J mutation between D7Mit228 (4.8% recombination) and D7Mit145 (5.4% recombination), Dfcr-2J was non-recombinant with markers D7Mit229, D7Mit69 and D7Mit230 whereas dfcr was non-recombinant with D7Mit158.
