    A male C57BL/6 mouse with the Ska1 mutation was matted to a wild-type BALB/C. The F1 females were then backcrossed to BALB/C to produce 164 N2 generation mice. The PhexSka1 mutation was mapped on the X chromosome between DXMit98 and DXMit179.
